UB celebrates achievers day.

The Achievers Day one of the grandest awarding ceremony of the University of Bohol was held last February 24, 2009 the University of Bohol at the UB quadrangle, this city.

The Achievers Day is a tribute to the men and women of this prestigious learning institution who made it to the top because of their determination and perseverance – ordinary students with extraordinary potentials. Miss Evelyn Cuares Caseñas a 10th palcer in Nursing Board Examination and a reviewer at Powerhouse Training and Review Center is the guest speaker.

The 20 students awarded for the certificate of recognition for academic scholars are the following; Marie Nickie H. Bolos, BSCS 4; Lalaine A. Dajao, BSA 3; Ann B. Crusit, BSED 4; Ronald R. Boniao, BEED 4; Aniceta P. Boyras, BSA 3; Pretty Annifel L. Edulan, BSA 3; Jaype B. Piquero, BSED 3; Ronnel L. Ganzon, BSA 3; Graham Armani V. Lim, BSA 2; Jennifer G. Cantones, BEED 3; Danna Merisa B. Villamor, BSPsy 3; Cemie B. Dacoylo, BEED 3; Eugene B. Arac, BEED 4, Maria Becill A. Sulliva, BSA 3; Jason Rey B. Rodriguez, BSA 2; Jerranica Anna C. The 17 students awarded for the certificates of commendation for exemplary service are the following; for UB Grade School -Romeo Magsino Balili Jr.; Joel Azarcon Castro Jr.; Ched Lubon Garsuta; French Kenneth Baldo Pearson; Paul Jerwen Betonio Redulla; Christian Jay Paña Sajulga; Leo Emmanuel Fabio Tabel; Gilmar Bade Rebosura; Joides Ceasar Sabas Tan; Joel Azarcon Castro, Jr.; Manuel Viktor F. Salaum of the VDT-ALC; Senior Scout Dinnes Salinasal Balatero of UB Day High School; Mylene Abitona Pedroso of the College of Business and Accountancy; Parker Colegio Bolanio of the College of Education; Nichol Marie Hontucan Bolos of College of Business and Accountancy; and Jaype Becera Piquero of the College of Education.

The 9 Plaque of special commendation for exemplary service is awarded to the following; Nathalie Deanne A. Fredensborg, VDT-ALC; Jason Ginn Tubal Lopena, UB Grade School; Cadet Lt. Col. Nicolas T. Odal, Jr.,1st College of Criminology; Hildardo Asas Madijanon Jr. and Christian Tinio Cadorna of the College of Engineering; Lalaine Auxterio Dajao, College of Business and Accountancy; Marie Nickie H. Bolos, College of Engineering and Technology; Ann Bernaldez Crusit, College of Education; and Rodalin M. Horolan, College of Education.

The sportsman of the year award is given to Melvin Tudilla Besinga of the UB High School. The 4 Service Awards were given to the following; Ronald Ratonel Boniao College of Education; Jason Kit Anabieza Divinagracia College of Education; Jaype Becera Piquero College of Education; Marc Bruce C. Villarojo College of Business and Accountancy; Marie Nickie Hontucan Bolos College of Engineering and Technology; Eugene Bajao Arac College of Education; and Ann Bernaldez Crusit College of Education. The Character Award were given to the following students; Joanne Milca Dolleson College of Engineering and Technology; Maria Nathaligen T. Tampos College of Criminology; and Ginelyn Omac Hingpit College of Business and Accountancy.

The Leadership Award was conferred to Marie Nickie Hontucan Bolos. The 2008 Gold Medal for Academic Excellence were given to; Marie Nickie Hontucan Bolos, BSCS 4; Lalaine Auxtero Dajao, BSA 3; and Ann Bernaldez Crusit, BSED-Phys Sci 4.13 The Silver Academic Execellence Awards were given to; Ronald Ratonel Boniao, BEED-SPED 4; Aniceta Padillo Boyras, BSA 3; Pretty Annifel Lomaad Edulan, BSA 3; Ronnel Luzano Ganzon, BSA 3; Rainerio Malayas, BEED 4; Maria Becill Arriesgado Suliva, BSA 3; Danna Merissa Borja Villamor, BS Psych 3; Cemie Baay Dacoylo, BEED-SPED 3; Jaype Becera Piquero, BSED-Engl 3; Eugene Bajao Arac, BEED 4; Jason Kit Añabieza Divinagracia, BEED 4; Noel Socorin Legaspo, BSA 4; and John Rey Bantay Rodriguez, BSA 2. And The 2009 Most Outstanding Student Award was conferred to Marie Nickie Hontucan Bolos.
